My show horse got into a fight with a donkey who took a 3 inch long chunck out of the middle of his mane. Any ideas how I can cover this up for a show in a couple weeks?

Spray on hair.
naw, you are probably going to have to cut the mane to make or just leave it be. I know some people have been known to use tail extensions. Mabey the smae could be done for the mane?? I obviously don't know much about this extension thing though. -Phillip

Thanks, I'm really at a loss, it's gone clear down to the skin for about 3-4 inches right in the middle of the mane. I thought about trimming the whole thing down to 3 inches and doing the tassle thing, then it might not be as noticable...

you could possibly just braid the mane for certain shows

The big show isn't until May 30th, So I think if I cut down the rest to about 3 inches, and enough will grow back in, then I can braid some for the show.

If you were showing back in the day I was showing (cough, choke, arrgh, bring me my heart medication please) you could just shave the whole mane and be in vogue.
