That must be awesome. What kind of Stud is he?? Whats his breedinG? I know I couldn't wait if i GOT MY MARE BRED. I'd wanna see the foal right away, but I guess my patience has improved from having cows so long.

well, you see, when we bought Daisy, we bought her from the Auction Mart. She had been running with a stud all summer, so naturally we figured she was most likely bred. The guy had no idea about her, but knew all the other mares, for sure were bred. She never had a foal. We think that she probably cannot have one and thats the reason this guy sold her. Also because she was beaten so badly that she bucked, and you could not get a saddle anywhere near her.
Shes only 11, and I know Sarah would love to get her bred to a local Palomino QH called Brooks. He is so gorgeous. But she also wants to get her bred to a gorgeous Black Tobiano Paint stud. But we have no idea if she'll stick, and also convincing dad to have a foal around our house again could be an interesting time. I don't see the problem, dad babies his 100 cows all winter, to have a May foal wouldn't be bad, but yeah.
