I am an almost intermediate rider. I have tried roping, penning and general all-around riding. I spent most of the time just trying to stay in the saddle when I was roping. I am trying to find a week long place to better my riding skills. I would like to find a place where someone helps with instruction and also then rides with you doing ranch type things. I have herded cattle, etc. I really need to get a little more confidence being in the saddle so I can ranch rodeo with my friends. Any ideas or personal experiences would be much appreciated. I am hoping for someplace in Wyoming, Montana or Colorado. I do like the mountains. thanks!

Thanks for the tips. I think the ad in WH is for Bob Kings Cowboy Camp. I need to call him and find out if his camp leans towards what I am looking for. I appreciate the websites for the other 3 people. THey look great! Buck B. does not look like he takes people at his place. Martin Black's apprenticeship program looks good, wouldn't mind taking that myself...Martin was in Alberta for a clinic last year, but unfortunately I missed him. I heard great reports from folks who attended.
