Ok, I've heard of programs where during the summer some ranches will take on teens as ranch hands for a full summer. I can't seem to find anything on the internet about it, and I'm really intrested in working at a ranch because I plan on going to college for Equine and hopefully someday owning my own ranch. So I figured working at one for a summer would give me a good look at what it takes to run a ranch, and it'll also give me some experiance for searching for jobs when I graduate college. If anyone has any information on this kind of program PLEASE reply!! Thanks!

Hey sounds like we have the same interests!! First my advice would be to look around where you live and find trainers and ranchers looking for help. This way your close to home and can develope a more personal relationship with the people you work with. In Colorado there is always someone looking for good experienced help, so I've been pretty lucky. Well good luck!!

O! What kind of work are looking for specificlly? I might know a couple of people.
