I think that Big Brown is our next Triple Crown winner. The colt is amazing, he is a freak. Either that or there isn't much competetion this year. The field was a bunch of also rans with him and Gayego the only other legitimate horse. Looks like the other owners aren't going to run against him because they know he is so strong. I don't think I have ever watched a horse run as effortlessly and efficiently as Big Brown does. He galloped the Preakness and was still wanting to run after the finish line. He didn't even break a sweat!!!

I agree whole-heartedly! I watched the end of the race with my mouth hanging open in awe. The way he just opened up was amazing. I hope he is the next Triple Crown winner, since we are past due for one! He seems to have a lot of heart and endurance to make up for the lack of races run. Hopefully nothing bad will happen to him before or after the Belmont to make this winning streak come to an end. Good luck to him!!!

Big Brown was just wonderful. He moves and acts just like Secretariat. I hope he wins the triple crown. Horse racing needs a hero right now. I was so relieved that the whole field came back in good form. The TB people are finally discussing breeding practices, track surfaces, etc; some long neglected subjects.
Of course you know, Big Brown is a paint too, with his one white spot on the left side. Not that I'm fond of paints with 11 of them.

The Horse.com recently had an article about Big Brown's feet, I was going to share the link but I can't get it to work now

Looks like Big Brown got a little exercise today, and they're thinking that the hoof should be okay to run at Belmont.
