9th - Dusty Roller and Telford (he is going to bid on this horse for
his 6 yr old boy, who I got to have a conversation with while he was
sitting on Telford - cute kid!) $4500 There were competitive bidders, and it was unclear to us whether the horse went home. Hope so. Very cute kids with a note....Please don't bid on my horse....
10th - Janet Kalinowski and Mucho Mas $3000
Legends Division
1st - Mark Lyon and Christian Awesome performance in spite of his saddle slipping and his falling. He did La Garrocha, the Spanish Pole Dance. Walked a see-saw through a flame hoop
2nd - Clint Bailey and Deets $3600 No bridle, jumped through fire
3rd - Dan Keen and Trubador Jumped his horse bareback, worked cow, rode horse into the bed of a moving truck. Got all 10s for artistic/athletic performance.
4th - David Carter and Silverado $10,500 home This was interesting. It was a bidding war but nobody knew that one bidder was Carter's family until the bid had been driven up so high. The other bidder stopped bidding when that became known. The Carter family was very upset and anxious. I don't think the other bidder meant any harm because he had won a bid earlier and given the horse back to the young trainer to take home. I wonder if the MHF will lower the price?
5th - Cindy Branham and Moses $4700 Andalusian-type black horse. MHF wants new owners to keep it in the mustang program as an ambassador. Interesting fantasy freestyle program.
6th - Wylene Wilson and Filthy Rich Rode bareback at fast speeds. Energetic, daring rider
7th - Martin Black and Peppy Sam $1300 Horse followed him to the fence and siddled up for mounting, took off bridle
8th - Arvell Bass and Prince $4000 home
9th - Dave Schaffner and RVOS This is the man who could not compete last year because he was hospitalized due to crushed pelvis injuries. Son rode his horse as a demo.
10th - Chase Dodd and Tennessee Titan Flames and balloons
