It's been awhile but good to be back. I've spent the last 7 months fighting/recovering from cancer. I whooped it and am happy to say that Im cancer free. During that time I had only been able to see my horse a handfull of times . Im happy to say that after all that time of not riding I was able to get on and ride again. I'd lost my muscle mass during the illness and have not fully gained my strength back so needless to say my balance was not as it should be. My boy was perfect. He paid attention to my every move and if I was off balance or wimpy, he adjusted so that I could find my seat. He knew whenever I wasn't with him and adjusted his speed so I could sync up with him. He is also different with me on the ground....loves putting his head into my chest and holds it there for the longest time .....horse hugs smile.gif He gives me those looks like....are you ok? Anyway......good to be back....lots of catchin up to do.....missed readin all the great posts.

smile.gif Kalo555 it is wonderful to see you back, and I am extremely thankful that you are cancer free. As you know, cancer is wicked.

Oh Dillon is a good boy, that is for sure! Enjoy every second with him, enjoy his smell, the feel of his coat and looking into his eyes and making that connection.

Life is grand, as you know,
