Remington, a Clyde from near Dallas, is a true 20 hands and weighs 2,900 lbs. He appears to be Bkack with black and white feathers.
My Shire is 16.1 hh and about 2,000 lbs. Based on my pony, Remington likely eats 32 lbs of feed a day not including hay and grazing. I didn't see info as to if he drives or rides??????

Mike, I think I'll stick with my small draft ponies (15hh Haflinger & 14.2hh and still growing Norwegian Fjord)! My two together probably eat as much as your Shire. What type of work do you do with your Shire?
The link to the article said the owners had a carriage business. They pulled him single on a carriage. I trim some for a client that are pretty darn big but not quite as big as this guy. I think their biggest is 19 hands and maybe 2500 lbs.
