Just wondering, whats everyone's opinion on horse shampoos? What works the best for getting out stains in white tails? I have a palamino that I am constanly washing to keep her mane and tail white! Recently my mane n tail shampoo failed to take out some tough stains. Any recomendations? I use a tail bag only on the winter as in the summer she needs her tail.

I've used QuickSilver on my gray for parades with luck...it comes in different formulas for different colors of horses.

ya, I use quick silver too and it works, but only if you get the dirt out first. Otherwise it tends to emphasize any light colors including the yellow stains I would like to remove from her tail. But it does do wonders for her mane which dosn't get stained like her tail does.
Liquid Tide with Bleach really cleans up white manes and tails. There is also a horse shampoo product that is a purple liquid (can't remember the name) that also works really well. It comes in a clear plastic bottle if that helps.
